Convergent Media @ UIW is a inter-disciplinary program that takes cues from such great New Media programs as CMU’s ETC, MIT’s Media Lab and UT’s former ACTLab. The goal of Convergent Media @ UIW is to facilitate a creative space for students to flourish in theory, technology and practice.
Our facilities and resources involve not only Audio and Video studio’s and high-tech equipment, but access to professionals from around the globe who visit and work with students to give them insight into the emerging careers in Convergent Media.
Convergent Media @ UIW is a program in the Communication Art’s Department in the School of Interactive Media and Design at the University of Incarnate Word.
